Morris Hassler

Morris Hassler is the Vice President, Joint Services/Business Unit General Manager for IB3 Global Solutions in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In this role, he is responsible for operational execution across a portfolio of clients ranging from the Department of Homeland Security, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, National Nuclear Security Administration, the Intelligence Community, and IB3 National Laboratory and Site partners, as well as focusing on driving forward IB3 corporate strategic growth objectives.

 

Morris has worked in the nuclear field since 1991, gaining a wide range of experience and an in-depth understanding of the commercial and military nuclear material supply chains, international and domestic nuclear security and nonproliferation programs, research reactor and isotope production nuclear fuel cycles, and special nuclear material removal/ storage/disposition initiatives. His last position (retired) was the Senior Director, Global Security & Strategic Partnerships at the Y-12 National Security Complex and Pantex Sites managing programs with funding over $300 million annually.

 

Morris holds an M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and both an MBA and a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Tennessee Technological University. He has been a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute. Morris is an active member in the American Nuclear Society, where he has served in various leadership positions in the Nuclear Nonproliferation Policy Division, including being the first Chairman of NNPD. Morris is also a Fellow of the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) and actively serves on several committees.
