Michelle Fierro is Director of Human Resources and Facility Security Officer (FSO) at IB3 Global Solutions. Since joining IB3 in 2020, she has led the company's human resources and personnel security functions. She supports the company's growth through workforce planning, talent management, employee development, compliance, and total rewards. She has strengthened IB3's HR infrastructure by implementing new HR and recruiting systems, redesigning performance management, and developing manager training programs. She also led a benefits redesign that improved plan offerings while reducing employee and employer healthcare costs. As FSO, Michelle oversees personnel and facility security requirements supporting IB3's classified DoW and DOE contracts. 

 

Previously, Michelle served in HR and FSO roles supporting cleared federal contractors, where she managed recruitment, employee relations, HR compliance, security clearances, security training, and NISPOM requirements. A U.S. Air Force veteran, she began her career in intelligence operations as a SIGINT operator, trainer, linguist, and personnel leader. That combination of military service, intelligence operations, human resources, and industrial security gives her a practical understanding of the people, compliance, and mission demands of federal contracting.

 

Michelle holds a B.S. in Human Resource Management, summa cum laude, from the University of Maryland Global Campus and is a SHRM-CP certified HR professional. She also holds DoD and DOE Facility Security Officer credentials and an Insider Threat Program Senior Official certification. Michelle is an active member of NCMS, the Society of Industrial Security Professionals, where she has served as a chapter chair and vice chair and presented at the organization's annual training seminar. She is also an active member and Secretary of the NDIA Tri-Star Chapter.
